All ideas submitted for Five Minute Theatre will be considered by a panel from the National Theatre of Scotland. There is no guarantee that ideas will be used on the live broadcast day. Should your idea be successful and your Five Minute Theatre idea is selected to become part of the live broadcast online on 21st / 22nd June 2011 you agree to the following terms.
I understand that my submitted content may be displayed on the Five Minute Theatre webpage hosted by the National Theatre of Scotland and may be shown from time to time on other broadcast platforms anywhere in the world. I confirm that I have obtained the consent to such publication of all persons, companies and organisations involved.
I understand that my content or extracts from the content may be shown and distributed by the National Theatre of Scotland at relevant events and through other digital broadcast platforms (web and TV based) and for press and publicity purposes. The National Theatre of Scotland will aim to publish listings for any relevant events online.
I confirm that I hold the rights in this submission or relevant permission necessary to allow the content to be displayed for public exhibition. I am willing to produce evidence of such ownership permissions if required by National Theatre of Scotland. I have cleared all copyright material in this content and have the necessary permission for it to be used in this way. (Note: copyright material includes not just scripts but also elements such as music, graphics, artwork etc.)
I understand and agree that any fees, costs or other claims arising from the exhibition of my content by the National Theatre of Scotland are solely my responsibility and that they cannot be held responsible for any breach by me of any obligations.
I understand that the decision of the National Theatre of Scotland as to whether or not and where to exhibit my content is entirely their decision and is final.
I understand that the National Theatre of Scotland will endeavour to return my content within a reasonable time period if I supply a SAE with my content, but understand that the National Theatre of Scotland can accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to my content while it is in their hands. I confirm that I will indemnify the National Theatre of Scotland as against any claim against them arising directly from the exhibition of my content, including not by way of limitation, legal proceedings for libel or defamation.
